Quinta de Brence

Slightly outside the center of Guimarães, Quinta de Brence is a gastronomic experience from the start. It’s only open on Saturdays and Sundays, and no table stays empty due to high demand. On the menu, there’s a variety of snacks (gizzards, codfish salad) as well as hearty dishes, with arroz de cabidela (rice cooked in blood) standing out. Surprisingly, they also make homemade pizzas, and they’re very good.

Omakase

The Minho region isn’t just about traditional cuisine, and in Braga, this Omakase is a gateway to Japan. At the counter, put yourself in the hands of the chef. Omakase means just that – trust in the chef – and it’s one of the most classic and traditional styles of Japanese gastronomy. It’s a true experience.
