The chef looks to the region and represents it impeccably on the plate, in an unexpected way. Located in the city's historic center, near the castle, the restaurant features a magnificent balcony with a stunning city view.

Designed from scratch by chef Louis Anjos, it took just six months for Al SUD—located in the Palmares Ocean Living & Golf resort—to earn its first Michelin star. The sea serves as a backdrop to the dining room, overlooking Meia Praia in Lagos. The chef reinterprets traditional Algarve recipes, creating an innovative menu featuring both seafood and mountain ingredients, presented in a ten-course tasting experience.
