Taberna do Canal
The decor is rustic, and the atmosphere is warm and familiar. The black-and-white walls resemble the markings of the many cows scattered across the island. The small terrace is cozy, and the menu features everything you'd expect from a restaurant on Pico Island: grilled limpets, tuna steak, squid stew, house-style octopus, and even a highly praised honey tart.
